How we verify

1. We read the official page or statute itself (Florida Statutes, DBPR, county tax collectors, city websites), never search snippets or blogs.
2. Every fact on a page links to the source we read and shows the date we last checked it.
3. Anything we could not confirm on an official page is labeled verify, so you know to check it.
4. If we cannot confirm the core licenses for a city and trade, we do not publish that page.
5. We re-check sources regularly and update pages when an official source changes.

Why not just search the web or ask a chatbot? Answers there often mix up cities, counties and old rules, and rarely show where a fact came from. Here every line links to the government page it came from.
